Digital Transformation and Engagement: Here come the robots…but what about my employees?
Organizations are spending trillions of dollars on the Digital Transformation (DX) Revolution, but they run the risk of squandering that investment by falling to the old adage, those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. The current digital revolution (AI, machine learning, process automation) promises dramatic increases to productivity and reduction in costs over the long term, but the market will most likely experience the exact opposite results during the transformation. History has shown that workplace transformation can only happen when employees are engaged and willing to embrace change. Building a successful digital workplace therefore requires a communications strategy that prioritizes the employee experience and builds a shared vision of organizational goals.
