Celebrating Impact Award Winner, Jason Oziem

Digital signage delivers its greatest value when it becomes part of day-to-day operations.

At Hollywood Casino Greektown, that’s exactly the case, which is why we’re proud to recognize Jason Oziem, AV/LVI Manager, as a Poppulo Impact Award winner.

Casinos present unique communication challenges. They operate 24/7, serve multiple audiences at once, and span everything from gaming floors and hotels to back-of-house employee areas.

Across multiple Hollywood Casino properties—digital signage has become a critical communication channel built to meet those demands, thanks to Jason’s vision and efforts. Reflecting on receiving the Impact Award, Jason stated: “I’ve been passionate about making digital signage a core part of how we operate, and am so proud to receive this award. Working closely with Poppulo for more than a decade has allowed us to build something that really works for our teams and our guests, and the best part is that we can keep innovating and creating even better experiences for our guests and employees.”

Driving Meaningful Impact Across the Organization

A defining part of Jason’s impact has been his practical, thoughtful approach to scaling the signage program. By right-sizing the casino’s digital signage player mix, the team reduced per-screen hardware costs by up to 70%, making expansion more efficient without compromising reliability. Additionally, deployments that once took hours can now be completed in around 15 minutes, simplifying rollouts and making the network easier to maintain over time.

Beyond efficiency and scale, Jason’s work has elevated how communication supports daily operations and engagement. Today, digital signage enables:

  • Guest promotions and property-wide messaging
  • Wayfinding and event information
  • Real-time operational updates
  • Employee communication and engagement

With accurate, timely information always visible, teams know where to look—and guests experience clearer, more consistent messaging throughout the property.

Jason’s work reflects the core principles of the Poppulo Impact Award: strong execution, operational consistency, and results that matter. Reflecting on Jason’s award, Poppulo’s CEO, Ruth Fornell, stated, “Jason has built digital signage into a trusted communication channel across multiple casino properties through sustained focus and smart execution. What stands out most is how the program supports operations, employee communications, and the guest experience simultaneously. That level of impact is exactly what the Poppulo Impact Award is meant to recognize.”

Congratulations to Jason Oziem on this well-deserved recognition!
