Under Tanner’s guidance, the newsletter has become a key channel for helping colleagues understand shifting priorities through the lens of “The Nielsen Way,” anchored in the company’s four culture actions: Dream Big, Shape the Future, Push Forward, and Achieve Together.
By consistently framing new initiatives in shared language and values, the newsletter has helped teams make sense of change rather than simply receive updates.
Tanner has also brought a disciplined approach to tagging, clarity, and measurement, making the TAM Weekly easier to navigate and more reliable as a go-to resource.
This focus has reduced the “clarification churn” that often accompanies organizational change and has supported smoother adoption of new processes across the team, emphasized by an impressive 83% engagement rate year to date.
