Ten Internal Communications Blogs You Should Follow

If you are in Internal Communications, you’re probably like me and always on the look out for the latest research, reports, case studies, insights and views on what is happening in the world of communications, today I’m sharing the ten blogs that I personally follow (not in any particular order):

Follow the Internal Communications experts

The Grossman Group – David Grossman speaks and writes regularly on the topic of communication inside organisations, and his Your Thought Leader blog gives hands-on insight into organisational challenges.

All Things IC – Rachel Miller’s All Things IC is the hub for all things social media – you’ll want to read Rachel’s blog if you’re researching, launching or managing social in your organisation.

CIPR UK – The Conversation is powered by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), and offers a one-stop shop by consolidating selected blog posts about communications from around the world.

Melcrum – The Melcrum team all contribute to the Melcrum blog – so you get the full range of their expertise and insight from every angle of Internal Communications.

Ragan.com – The Ragan communications website features an article round-up that offers lots of top tips for managing Internal Communications challenges.

HC+T – The Holtz Communication + Technology organization features a sharp blog by founder Shel Holz.

Confessions of an Internal Communicator – Jenni Wheeler – day job at SSP – informs her insight in her personal blog – she’s also one of the IC Crowd founders.

Intranetizen – If the topic of Intranets matters to you – then this is a great blog to follow. Intranetizen blog features posts from four UK-based intranet practitioners.

Exploring Internal Communications – Based around the book Exploring Internal Communications, and a companion for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations qualifications in internal communication, the site features a blog with contributions from all the book’s authors.

The Sequel Group – This agency writes a Storyboard blog on the topic of communication – all news and views with the internal communicator in mind.
