Denise CoxDenise Cox·

The Institute of Internal Communication has launched their annual search for ’30 Under 30′. That’s thirty internal communication professionals under thirty who are really making a difference in their jobs.

The role of Internal Communication is becoming an essential part of the team within organizations. The Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC) recognizes this, and every year looks to find ’30 under 30′ emerging superstars in this field.

Internal Communication – a new exciting career opportunity

There has never been a better time to be (or consider becoming) an Internal Communication professional. This is a function gaining traction within organizations, and becoming an exciting career opportunity for those entering the job market.  Just as marketing sprang from sales and advertising in the 1940s and 50s to become a board role, so Internal Communication is finding its professional feet. Moving from an off-shoot of human resources or corporate communication, it is becoming a recognized discipline, and a must-have department for organizations.

How to enter to IoIC’s ’30 under 30′

The Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC) supports Internal Communication practitioners in their careers, promotes high professional standards within the sector and raises general awareness of the value of Internal Communication. This is the third year they’ve run the ’30 under 30′ to highlight the growth of this function. ’30 under 30′ is open to internal communicators under thirty working in the UK IC industry.

Towers Watson reports that companies highly effective at Internal Communication are 1.7 times as likely to outperform their peers. Your function is a valuable asset to your business. Can you demonstrate the value of your work and get noticed in your organization?
