Nothing beats success. Except success repeated.
That’s what we’re marking in our own quiet way here at Poppulo since the influential G2 Crowd rated us a global leader in employee engagement for the third time in a row, as we continue to shape the future of internal communications.
The Chicago-based independent research company has given us the accolade in its Spring 2019 report, following similar recognition in its Winter 2019 report and also in Fall 2018.
The latest report highlights not only Poppulo's global leadership in employee engagement software - at a time when engagement is increasingly seen as critical to employee recruitment and retention, and business success - but also our software's power in email tracking. The report also placed Poppulo in the 'High Performance' category for Team Collaboration.
The G2 Crowd ranking is based on customer satisfaction (based on user reviews) and market presence (based on market share, vendor size, and social impact).
In total, 98% of users gave Poppulo either a 5 Star of 4 Star ranking. Respondent industries included: hospital & healthcare; telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, automotive and financial services.
According to G2 Crowd: “Employee engagement software helps organizations solicit and track feedback from their employees, recognize employee achievements, and promote positive activity.
“ Employee engagement tools are used to draw actionable insights from employee feedback. Organizations use employee engagement software to understand employee sentiment, promote company-wide recognition of employee success, and to promote positive activities that benefit the health or wellness of the organization or its employees.”
The recognition was welcomed by Poppulo CEO Andrew O'Shaughnessy, a passionate believer in the power of communication to create an environment where employee engagement thrives for the best possible employee experience.
The G2 Crowd accolade comes at an exciting time in Poppulo’s rapid growth. Earlier this year O’Shaughnessy announced a $35 million investment in the company by US-based Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), which he said would be used to accelerate Poppulo’s international expansion plans.
Since then, product innovator Alan Beiagi has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Product to lead the company's pioneering product innovation program.
O'Shaughnessy founded the company to create the world's most powerful force in employee communications and engagement, and today it partners with many of the biggest and most successful organizations.
When companies such as Unilever, Experian, Nestlé, Johnson Controls, Rolls-Royce - and 9 of the world’s 20 biggest pharma companies - want to solve complex communication challenges with their large international workforces, they look to Poppulo.
Why you should invest in an employee communication solution
They, and companies of all sizes across all sectors and geographies, increasingly recognize the crucial role employee communications plays in engaging workers and, consequently, business success. Internal communication is also seen as critical to a positive employee experience (EX).
This is forcefully evident in the results of IBM's Smarter Workforce Institute research, which found organizations that score in the top 25% on employee experience report nearly three times the return on investment and double the return on sales compared to organizations in the bottom quartile.
The Poppulo platform gives organizations the power to manage their internal communications, and measure their impact, across multiple digital channels, mobile, email, intranet, video, and enterprise social networks.
The company's US head office is based in Boston, MA and its HQ is in Cork, Ireland.
