Poppulo is delighted to announce that Sian Cargan, Global Internal Communications & Engagement Lead at Kobalt Music, has been named the latest recipient of the Poppulo Impact Award.
This recognition marks a milestone as the first award presented to a non-customer, celebrating Sian’s outstanding voluntary contributions to the internal communications (IC) community.
For nearly five years, Sian’s regular #commsjobs postings have become a trusted resource for IC professionals, helping countless individuals navigate their careers, discover opportunities, and stay connected.
Sian has maintained these postings entirely on her own time, outside of her role leading internal communications and engagement at Kobalt Music, demonstrating her generous commitment to the profession.
Commenting on the award, Poppulo Chief Executive Ruth Fornell said:
Sian’s voluntary commitment to nurturing the IC community is a powerful example of what true impact looks like. Her #commsjobs posts have connected professionals and offered much-needed support during times of transition and uncertainty.

Following the announcement of award, Sian Cargan commented: “What an honour to be recognized with an award—thank you Poppulo! I started sharing #commsjobs as a way to give back to the lovely IC community after finding myself without one during the pandemic, and realising how tough it can be to scroll endlessly through job ads (or feel like there are none).
"Now, with almost 10,000 followers, it’s clear the need is still very real—so I’m still here, posting and GIFing as often as I can," she said.
